Welcome to ServisDom Terms and Conditions page. By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which, together with our Privacy Policy, govern ServisDom relationship with you.
The terms "ServisDom," "we," "our," or "us" refer to Easy Dom Portal. The terms "you," "your," "client," or "user" refer to the person using our services or viewing our website.
ServisDom's Role and Use of ServisDom's Services
ServisDom offers a platform via its App and Website that allows Customers to access a variety of home services. While ServisDom acts as an intermediary to facilitate these transactions, Customers acknowledge that ServisDom is solely a technology service provider and does not provide the Professional Services.
These services are performed by independent third-party contractors who are not employed by ServisDom or any of its affiliates. Any agreements made or services provided by a Professional are strictly between the Customer and the Professional.
1. General Terms of Use
- The content of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without prior notice.
- By accessing our website, you agree to use it in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- Unauthorized use of this website or its content may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.
2. Amendments
- ServisDom reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- Continued use of our services or website constitutes your agreement to the amended Terms and Conditions.
3. Cookies and Data Collection
We use cookies to enhance user experience. If you allow cookies, your data may be stored by us for purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy.
4. Intellectual Property
- All materials on this website, including layout, design, graphics, and content, are owned or licensed by ServisDom. Unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.
- You agree not to replicate, distribute, or misuse any of the content without explicit permission.
5. External Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience. ServisDom is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of content on external sites.
6. Services and Liability
- ServisDom connects users with service professionals and directly managed teams for home services. Services offered include, but are not limited to, cleaning, pest control, maintenance, and more.
- ServisDom conducts background checks on service professionals; however, users must exercise caution to ensure personal safety.
7. Payments and Refunds
- Payments can be made online via Visa and MasterCard or made in-person by cash in AED (or other agreed currencies).
- For credit card payments, ServisDom, through its payment gateway, may request a pre-authorization from your bank to verify sufficient funds. The pre-authorized amount will either be captured upon confirmation of the transaction or released if the transaction does not proceed.
- ServisDom may collect payments on behalf of Professionals and will provide a receipt for all transactions.
- ServisDom fees, if applicable, will be displayed before booking confirmation.
- Refunds are processed only through the original mode of payment. Fees are non-refundable unless the issue arises due to a company error.
8. Cancellations and Modifications
- Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours in advance through the App or the Website.
- Late cancellations (less than 2 hours from the service start time) are subject to a cancellation fee, as outlined below:
- 2+ hours before service: No fee
- 1-2 hours before service: 25% of the booking price
- 30-60 minutes before service: 50% of the booking price
- Less than 30 minutes before service: 100% of the booking price
9. Booking Policies
- Fees displayed on the website are subject to updates. Any changes will be communicated in advance for permanent rate adjustments.
- Users are liable for any applicable taxes unless exempted by law.
10. Quality Assurance
To maintain high service standards, we perform random quality inspections, including:
- Unannounced Visits – Ensuring compliance with ServisDom standards.
- On-Site Inspections – Joint walkthroughs with clients and professionals.
- Follow-Up Calls – Post-service quality feedback from clients.
11. Reporting Issues
You must report issues within the specified timeframes:
- Damaged items: Within 24 hours of service completion.
- Missing or stolen items: Within 48 hours of service completion.
12. Limitation of Liability
- ServisDom and its service providers are not responsible for damage to property or belongings during service delivery unless caused by gross negligence.
- However, ServisDom may impose penalties on service providers for property damage or failure to meet established quality standards.
- ServisDom is not liable for unauthorized acts by third-party service providers.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ServisDom, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of:
- Your use or misuse of the services;
- Any violation of this agreement;
- Any third-party claims relating to your actions or content shared through the services;
- Your willful misconduct or breach of applicable laws.
14. Communications
- By using ServisDom, you consent to receive communications via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or notifications for appointment updates, confirmations, and promotions.
15. Governing Law
- All legal matters related to these Terms and Conditions will be governed and construed under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
- ServisDom complies with UAE and international trade sanctions and will not engage with sanctioned countries or entities.
16. Termination
- ServisDom may terminate agreements with immediate effect due to law violations, inappropriate behavior, or contract breaches by Customers.
- Upon termination:
- Customer accounts will be deactivated.
- Any unpaid dues must be settled immediately.
- Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations of either Party.
17. Relationship between Parties
- ServisDom acts as a technology service provider connecting Customers and Professionals. It is not an employer, partner, or agent of either Party.
- Customers acknowledge direct business relationships with Professionals and assume all related responsibilities.
18. Customer obligations
- Treat Professionals with respect and ensure a safe environment for service delivery.
- Users must safeguard their login credentials and that ServisDom will not be liable for unauthorized account access caused by user negligence.
- Avoid sharing personal contact information outside the Platform.
- Provide accurate service location details and requirements during booking.
19. Disclaimer of Warranty
- You acknowledge and agree that all services provided by ServisDom are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Your use of these services is at your own risk. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We do not guarantee that:
- The services will meet your specific requirements;
- The services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free;
- Any information obtained through the services will be accurate or reliable;
- Any defects in the services will be corrected.
- You agree that any material or data downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of our services is at your own discretion and risk, and you will be solely responsible for any damage to your device or loss of data resulting from such downloads.
- No advice or information obtained by you from us, whether oral or written, will create any warranty not expressly stated in this agreement.
20. Force Majeure
- ServisDom shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (e.g., floods, earthquakes, or hurricanes).
- Acts of war, terrorism, or civil unrest.
- Government actions or restrictions.
- Power outages, technical failures, or internet disruptions.
- Strikes, labor disputes, or pandemics.
- In such circumstances, ServisDom will make reasonable efforts to resume services as soon as practicable.
21. Miscellaneous
- Users under the age of 18 are prohibited from registering or transacting on the ServisDom platform.
- ServisDom reserves the right to transfer or delegate its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions without notice.
22. Validity and Enforceability
- If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary.
- The remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
